The fifteen selections on this compilation consist of solo and collaborative works by the informal collective of self-recorded musicians from Los Angeles at the start of Human Ear Music. The music is typified by a paradox of insularity and shameless sincerity. From there, all similarities vanish, as the music veers from elemental basement electro-funk to schizoid tropicalia.

The solo and collaborative pieces display the secretive excess of manic inspiration going on in the morning twilight of Los Angeles.
